2. Why we process your data, and our legal basis
We process personal data for the following purposes and on the following legal bases under the GDPR: to respond to your enquiries submitted through the contact form, based on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)) or steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)); to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website, based on our legitimate interest in a secure and functioning site (Art. 6(1)(f)); and to comply with our legal obligations and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, based on Art. 6(1)(c) and (f). We do not currently rely on consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) as a legal basis for any processing on this website, because we do not run any consent-gated analytics or marketing cookies at this time; if that changes, this policy will be updated to state the relevant basis before the change takes effect.
3. Security
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal data, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority and, where required by law, affected individuals, without undue delay and within the timeframes required by applicable law.

Data Collection and Use - By filling out Metrum AI's contact form, you consent to provide us with the following information: Name (used to address you personally), Email Address (used to respond to your inquiries), Company (used to understand your organization's context), Subject (used to route your inquiry), and Message (the content of your inquiry or feedback). Purpose of Data Collection: The information collected through this contact form is used to respond to your inquiries and provide the information you request, and is submitted to a third-party service provider that helps us process and deliver form submissions to our team.
6. Data Storage and Security
We store your data securely and take appropriate measures to protect it from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. Contact form and enquiry data is retained for 24 months from your last contact with us, after which it is deleted, unless a longer period is required to comply with the law or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Server and security logs are retained for 12 months to support security monitoring and incident investigation.
7. Data Sharing
We disclose personal data to the following categories of service providers, each located in the United States: Google, to process and deliver contact form submissions via Google Sheets; and our cloud hosting infrastructure provider, to host and deliver this website. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes, except as required by law. We may also disclose personal data in connection with an actual or prospective business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
8. Cookies and Analytics
Our website does not currently use any third-party analytics or session-recording service. Only strictly necessary cookies, needed to operate the website, are set. If we introduce an analytics tool in the future, it will run only where you have given consent, and this policy and our Cookie Policy will be updated first.
9. AI and Model Training
We do not use website visitor data, contact form submissions, or job application data to train, fine-tune, or otherwise develop any Metrum AI model or agent. Where our products reference continuous learning or model fine-tuning, that applies only to model development processes that use Metrum's own data or data explicitly provided under a customer agreement, never data collected through this website.
10. Automated Decision-Making
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling based on your personal information that produces legal or similarly significant effects concerning you.
11. International Data Transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where we transfer personal data out of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or another lawful transfer mechanism. 12. Your Rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the right to request access to, rectification of, or erasure of your personal data, to restrict or object to our processing of it, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing; we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CPRA. We will respond within 30 days, or within the period required by applicable law, and may need to verify your identity first. There is no charge unless the request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
13. Additional Notices for Certain U.S. States
Nevada: Nevada residents have the right under Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A to direct us not to sell certain covered information for monetary consideration. We do not sell personal information as defined by this law; if you would like to submit a request regardless, email privacy@metrum.ai. Texas: Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, including the rights described above. We do not sell sensitive personal data as defined by that law. California Shine the Light: Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83, California residents who have an established business relationship with us may request information about our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. To submit a Shine the Light request, email privacy@metrum.ai with "Shine the Light Request" in the subject line, along with your name and mailing address.
14. Changes to Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date and post a notice on the Site at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
